Program Description:
To enhance adult independent living and/or children’s service programs including those in the community who are at a disadvantage, developmentally mentally or physically delayed, may have had contact with the court system, have a history of abuse, neglect and/or dependency and are working toward independence by educating and equipping them with the tools necessary to gain financial self-sufficiency and reduce dependency which may also result in emancipation from the child or adult welfare system.
Mission:
To educate and empower those in the community who may be at a disadvantage by teaching them skills and making them aware of resources necessary to seek, apply for, interview for/retain employment, start and operate a small business, or enter into educational programs thus moving them toward self-sufficiency and independence.
